We are currently looking for dedicated Early Years Educators to join a team of childcare professionals in full-day care service based in Kinvara, Galway

The Employer

The employer is Premier early years care and education Community Children’s Centre in the heart of Kinvara. This Community Children’s Centre is a not-for-profit children’s centre that provides early learning and care services for 3 months to 12-year-olds. The Centre offers early years programs (including free preschool under the ECCE program), after school care and holiday camps to families in the Kinvara area. Situated in the heart of Kinvara, County Galway, this non-profit community children’s centre caters for 0–12-year-olds in a safe, caring and fun environment centred around the four main themes of Aistear: Communication, Identity and Belonging, Exploring and Thinking and Well-being.

Location : Kinvara – South Galway

Kinvara – “The Head of the Sea”, and gateway to the Burren in County Clare, is County Galway’s only prominent sea village on the southern shores of Galway Bay. Situated at the head of Kinvara Bay, it once was a thriving port to which the necessities of life, such as turf fuel, were brought by the traditional Connemara sailing craft in the 19th century. This trade is recalled each Summer in Cruinniu na mBad, as sea festival organisd by the village, which sees the old boats compete in a host of exciting races and events.

Main requirements:

• EU Nationality
• Good level of English, both written and spoken
• Candidates must hold a minimum of Fetac Level 5 (or recognised equivalent) in a childcare qualification.
• Candidates with experience in a childcare role desired.
• Must be passionate about working with children.

Offer:
